Guns: April Muscle showcases more great backstage posing from the 2007 Ronnie Coleman Classic, training tips from Houston bodybuilders Tuan Tran and Chris Heitman, and workout footage showcasing biceps at the legendary Metroflex Gym the day after the Ronnie. The 2007 Ronnie Coleman Classic was such a huge show with so many quality competitors that we wound up with too much awesome backstage material for one DVD. So we included much of the backstage footage from the evening show in April Muscle (more info at right). The second segment of the DVD includes workout footage featuring Tuan Tran (who plans to compete at the Musclemania Universe this summer) and Chris Heitman, whose symmetry and conditioning were spot-on at the Ronnie. Tuan and Chris take you through the right moves and techniques for a basic upper body workout -- shot, of course, at Metroflex Gym. The third segment of April Muscle showcases more of Heitman's amazing arms as well as plenty of footage of McCullough and the peaked guns of Eugene Torrence. You'll also see brief footage of teen competitor Jonathan Irizarry, a promising young competitor to be featured in a future "Guns" production. The footage we shot at the 2007 NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic just might be the best backstage footage we've ever shot. Why? Because the show was huge (more than 150 competitors), the competition was brutal (especially in the middleweight novice, middleweight open and light heavyweight open classes), and our new on-camera full-spectrum lighting system spotlighted the muscle as never before. We ended up with so much footage we had to move part of it to Guns: April Muscle. But this production, "Backstage at the 2007 NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic," still includes almost an hour and a half of chiseled competitors pumping, posing and oiling backstage. We concentrated on shooting the best of the best male bodybuilders backstage. You'll see Chris Jalali (who won the overall at the NPC Orange County the following week!), Bryan Barth (who placed second in the NPC Junior USA Super Heavyweight Class the following week) and the amazing Odis McCullough, who took the hightly coveted overall oepn title at the 2007 Ronnie against some brutal competition, and many more massive, ripped bodybuilders.
