Bodybuilding "season" in North Texas begins around or shortly after the New Years holiday, at least for athletes opting to compete in the annual NPC Ronie Coleman Classic, an April tradition in the Dallas - Ft. Worth Metroplex, for which the "Metroflex" family of gyms is named,

The 2009 competition was large and featured high qualiy competitors, including two teens won national weight class champions later in the year.

In addition to the backstage footage from the event this DVD features Brett Buckles (2nd place novice heavyweight) hitting a variety of muscle groups at a suburban Ft. Worth area gym; third place novice heavyweight bodybuilder Brandon Thomas training at Metroflex Arlington, and second place open heavyweight competitor Ransford (RJ) Jackson showing off his huge biceps and other massive muscles at Metroflex Plano; and open light heavyweight winner James Savage Jr. refining his posing the night before the show with a little heap from his trainer, Sagi Kalev.
