The
traditional wrap-up of each year's U.S. bodybuilding season
is the NPC Excalibur, promoted by Jon Lindsay, and held in
southern California in early December. It's the last chance
of the year for bodybuilders to show their accomplishments
on stage.
Among the
best at the 2005 NPC Excalibur were Jonathan Wells, overall
men's novice winner, and Jesse Duque and Roman Esparza, both
of whom won their tough classes in the open division. In
"Guns Volume 12" we shot these three ripped competitors in
the gym the day of and the day after the show.
Jonathan
took the novice overall thanks in large part to his
combination of the three bodybuilding essentials: size,
symmetry and conditioning. It's obvious in this close-up
workout footage why he won the title, with every bodypart in
full and ripped condition.
Jesse, a
veteran national-level bodybuilder, trains arms and chest in
a lengthy workout segment. His winning physique is described
simply as big and full, and you'll be impressed by what you
see in this DVD.
The most
footage we shot was with Roman Esparza, an unbelievably
conditioned athlete who has appeared in several bodybuilding
magazines over the years. Roman was at his best with one of
the most detailed torsos we've ever shot -- his back, in
particular, was shredded. But there's plenty of footage of
his baseball biceps, ripped pecs and washboard abs to go
along with the back workout and posing footage.
