Several years ago we put together a series of VHS tapes that included backstage and on-stage footage from NPC bodybuilding competitions in Texas. After we discontinued our VHS offerings, these productions became unavailable. And that was unfortunate, because these videos include unique footage of outstanding athletes including Branch Warren, David Henry, Jason Powell, Jeff Dwelle, John McKinney, Frank Roberson, Tommy Brown, Jason English, Isaiah Nelson, Paul Fowler, Wondell LeFlore, Chris Jalali, Matt Brown, Shawn D'Aurelio, Prince Fontenot, Rob Garcia, and many other competitors who now compete either as pros or on the national level.

The good news is that we've resurrected much of the earlier content and added much more footage to produce our new "TexFlex" and "OkFlex" DVD series. Included is a special DVD shot last year which we call "TexFlex 2004."

TexFlex 2004 features IFBB pro Frank "Tiny" Roberson, national-level competitors Darryl Bush, Prince Fontenot, Mike Patino and Louis Magnone, south Texas competitor Homer Ramirez, and Dallas-based personal trainer Alex Skotarek.

This is where the "TexFlex" series all started, at the 1999 NPC Southwest USA and North Texas competition. This annual event, promoted by Ed and betty Pariso, always attracts top amateur talent. The 1999 event was a showcase for Branch Warren, who easily walked away with the overall trophy. Jeff Dwelle competed in stellar shape as did John McKinney. Guest posers included Tom Prince and Winston Williams. Plenty of backstage footage and on-stage highlights. Male bodybuilding only.

We took the best backstage and on-stage footage from the 1999 NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic and combined it with backstage footage from the 2000 NPC Lone Star Classic to create "TexFlex 2.1." Star-studded with the likes of Branch Warren, Jeff Dwelle, Isaiah Nelson, Frank Roberson, Tommy Brown, Jason English, and guest posers Melvin Anthony, Ronnie Coleman and Kim Chizevsky. "TexFlex 3.6" features a double dose of super-ripped David Henry in his pre-IFBB days. You'll see David winning the overall at the 2001 NPC Lone Star Classic and preparing to guest pose at the 2001 NPC Capitol of Texas. Backstage footage from the COT features rock-hard Paul Fowler, Wondell LeFlore, Joe York, Joe Kawabata, Jerry Malina and guest poser Mike Matarazzo. Backstage and on-stage footage from the Lone Star includes Winston Williams, Jason Powell, Jack Colten, Ruben Caballero and guest posers Isaiah Nelson and King Kamali. Male bodybuilding only.

The 2001 NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic featured some of the toughest teen competition in the history of the Texas NPC. Chris Jalali walked away with the first place trophy, but Shawn D'Aurelio gave him a run for the money at the show before placing second in his class at the NPC Teen Nationals the following year. Matt Brown, who now has a contract with Impact Nutrition, also competed in the unusually tough class. Guest posers included Markus Ruhl and Ronnie Coleman. Backstage and on-stage footage. There could only be one overall winner at the 1999 NPC Southwest Naturals, but there were two top-notch natural competitors in the running: Prince Fontenot and Rob Garcia. The posedown was awesome, as both competitors were ripped, massive and symmetrical. Fontenot took the overall. See both these guys and plenty of others both backstage and on-stage. Also included is footage from the 2000 NPC Heart of Texas featuring Louis Magnone and guest posers Jason English and Nassar El Sonbaty. Male bodybuilding only.
