Two-DVD set - 135 minutes

Sagi's first trip to California for a magazine cover shoot took place in August and September of 2003, and we chronicled the trip to produce "Photoshoot: Behind the Scenes," which set the pace for Sagi's DVD series. Fifteen months later -- in November of 2004 -- we did the same thing, logging footage of Sagi's preparations for and participation in shoots with both Muscle & Fitness and Ironman magazines. This time Sagi was five pounds heavier and in ripped, rock-hard shape -- arguably his best condition ever!

We shot more than three hours of footage over a five-day period starting in Houston, Texas, Nov. 13. We shot Sagi's preparations in Dallas on Sunday and in Los Angeles on Monday.

Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning you'll see Sagi again checking his incredible physique up close -- his diamond-shaped calves, cross-striated quads, rock-hard glutes, washboard abs, massive pecs, baseball biceps, ripped shoulders and Christmas-tree lower back. And you'll see another day's photo session in Southern California, including more footage at the actual shoot and interaction with his friend, Dror Okavi, another former Israeli bodybuilding champion.

For Sagi, who left the Holy Land in 1993 and arrived in American with little more than the clothes on his back, the magazine covers shoots are a "Dream Come True."

Showtime in Texas: This 90-minute production begins with Sagi practicing his routine in his hotel room prior to guest posing at the 2004 NPC Cornerstone Classic in McAllen, Texas, in late September. You’ll see Sagi pumping backstage and then under the lights to deliver his best-ever guest posing routine. Six days later the scene shifts to Plano, Texas, where Chad and Sagi team up to work a booth, assist their clients who are competing in the show, and meet the fand and folks at the 2004 NPC Heart of Texas. Next comes a poolside chat on Saturday afternoon, followed by a visit to a local park for some light workouts and a few “unplanned” encounters with the insect world. Then it’s off to the show where Chad will guest pose. You’ll see plenty of backstage pumping, his stunning on-stage performance, and a short visit with special guest Dave Palumbo. All in all, it’s Chad and Sagi, being themselves, having fun, and flexing those muscles!!!

Sagi: Workout (1) was shot on location in Dallas, Texas, during actual workout sessions in June, July and November. No hype or staged movements here -- just the real thing with Sagi and friends hitting the weights hard.

You'll see lots of Sagi training his awesome arms and chest as well as back, legs and shoulders during four different workout sessions. And, of course, there's lots of flexing and physique-checking between sets.

Workouts 2: Sagi Kalev knows the importance of staying in shape year-round. Three Muscle & Fitness covers in a six-month period attest to his ability to deliver what the photographers and the editors want. Staying in shape means consistency in diet and training, and this new DVD focuses on Sagi's work in the gym. No matter the time of year, Sagi shows he's in shape in this DVD, which includes training and posing footage from five workouts in January through March 2004.
