We started the day after the 2004 NPC Lone Star Classic by shooting masters sensation Lance Johnson and upcoming teen star Kyle Cavnar in the Dallas suburb of Plano. The day after the 2004 NPC Nationals in Dallas we gathered seven competitors to a private gym near downtown Dallas for a day of lifting, flexing and posedowns. Featured competitors include Tricky Jackson,a perennial crowd favorite; shredded bantamweight Heath Warren; ripped, high-peaked Craig Torres; genetically gifted Troy Tate; massive and ripped "big men" Phil McDowell and Brandon Chiles; and the always symmetrical Ray Barnett.

We began this new one-hour, thirty-five minute production begin previously unused chest training footage of the awesome Tamer El Shahat, shot the day after his impressive win at the 2003 Musclemania World. Tamer and his friend Neno get down to business pumping and posing those pecs.

Next you'll see Ray Barnett, a national-level NPC competitor with a balanced, training a variety of body parts. But when he poses, his superb chest can easily steal the show.

Conway, Arkansas training buddies Brent Scroggins and Henry Briscoe hit the weights hard the day after competing in the NPC Arkansas Championships, focusing on pecs, biceps and back. Brent's pecs show freaky striations when pumped while Henry's define the term "striated."

We asked five competitors from the 2004 NPC Jr. Nationals to meet us at the gym Sunday for a video shoot. And shoot we did -- most of the afternoon.

Competitors include 22-year-old Chris Jalali, whose rock-hard, symmetrical physique -- and awesome arms -- earned him a third place trophy in the middleweight class; the incredibly lean Dan Schmidt, whose physique is a textbook on the human musculature; the aesthetic and enthusiastic Darryl French; hometown competitor Jo Ji, whose massive arms and chest are trumped only by his freaky calves; and Shea West, who boasts awesome biceps, triceps and chest.

David Hughes, an NPC heavyweight competitor known for his incredible arms -- Tamer El Shahat, an Egyptian middleweight won captured the 2003 Musclemania World with a ripped and symmetrical physical physique -- Mo Elbasouni, another Egyptian native, who captured the heavyweight title at the 2003 NPFC Teen Nationals -- Chris Jalali, who stunned veteran competitors with his novice overall victory at the 2001 Ronnie Coleman Classic, at the age of 19.

We invited a select group of USA competitors to take a trip to the gym to pump and pose their biceps and one or two other bodyparts of their choosing. So you'll not only see great biceps, but you'll also see competitors training and posing their legs, backs, abs, pecs. etc. (Thus the title, "Guns, etc.")

We shot detailed close-ups of 13 ripped competitors in extended pumping and posing segments to highlight the physiques they've forged through hard work, rigorous diet, dogged perserverance, and an occasional gift of good genetics.
